Painter1 came in and scraped popcorn ceilings and painted over with a white finish. It looks amazing! There are hardly any noticeable spots or inconsistencies. Ceilings were 17ft high and they got the work done in two days. Had to use scaffolding. Tin was very fair and nice! Came out to quote it and scheduled work for the following Monday. I couldn’t be home when work was done but the results were outstanding!

When I was looking for someone to paint my kitchen cabinets for my kitchen renovation, I went onto NextDoor and did a search for painters. Painter1 was highly recommended by quite a few people in the Raleigh area. Now I know why. All I can say is WOW!!!! Painter1 did a FANTASTIC job! Tin was very responsive and professional. We had the entire interior of our home painted (crown molding, baseboards, doors, walls, ceilings and closets) and had a great crew here for duration of the project. Oscar and his crew were so nice, professional, thorough and careful. They did a great job moving/covering furniture and protecting surfaces. They worked hard and efficiently and got the whole project done in about 9 days. Very, very little touch up work needed to be done in our final walk through with Oscar. Would definitely recommend Painter1 and use them for future projects.

Very satisfied with the all aspects of Painter 1. From the time we contacted Painter 1. The owner, Tin contacted us immediately and we scheduled a time for him to come out with for an estimate. The estimate was competitive, but most of all it was completed in an extremely professional manner. Tin showed us the quote that day, and he also showed that they are insured and bonded. We came to an agreement, and scheduled the start date for the following week. The crew that came out was outstanding! Oscar was the lead foreman and he was very experienced and really knew his stuff. The other members of the crew, Dosay, Carlos, and Lenny were also great and payed particular attention to detail in the preparation and the painting of all walls and trim. I needed an interior paint done in all my livable rooms and I told Tin that I was concerned about budget and he gave me options on how to keep my costs down without hesitation. From the moment he walked in to do the quote, he showed respect and resources to me and my needs. Painter1 did a great job with my interior painting. Tin was detail-oriented, took great notes, and asked good questions. Everything was done to my exact specifications and in a timely manner. We hired Painter1 through Thumbtack and actually had several other pro’s quote us the project. Justin was the only one who actually took care to measure the space and provided us with the quote almost immediately, before he left the premises. He was able to put us on the schedule promptly and his crew did an excellent job! They even took care to fix some issues/mistakes of the original owners who painted the home before we moved in. That was outside of the original scope of work(we did not need molding and baseboards done) but since these were painted in a “wall” color they agreed to fix the molding to make sure it looks good with the ceiling. I would definitely hire them again!

After reaching out to several companies with no response, I was happy to have such quick follow-up from Painter 1. Justin (Tin), came out the next day to provide an estimate of my project. Afterwards, I had to make several adjustments to my project and he promptly provided updated estimates. I was informed of when the project would start (unlike some contractors that just show-up at the the house without prior notice). The team of two painters that came were friendly and completed the job ahead of schedule. I pointed out several small spots (drips) to fix, which the team touched-up without question. Overall, I was pleased and would recommend.

When it comes to painting a house, I'll never DIY it myself again as the Painter1 team responded quickly, presented a professional quote that wasn't off-the-cuff and made me feel like everything was taken care of. This can be a very messy and disruptive job but they did a great job of trying to minimize mess, clean up as they went and allow us to keep living.
