We initially started an interior paint job with a different contractor. He ghosted us halfway through the job. It is never easy to get someone to come in a pick up halfway through as well as ask that mistakes be fixed. We picked bryce from a list of Angi's contractors. He was responsive and was able to size up what our job needed and provide a fair quote. I was impressed by his knowledge of how different paints worked as well as what was needed to correct some trim quality issues from the prior guy. The finished product looks really good. Had exterior of house and trim painted. Overall good job, with all areas on bid addressed. Colors were as requested, coverage was complete after final inspection of work, and everything cleaned up, and trash hauled away at completion of job.

Abel painted our house and did a super nice job. Each day he cleaned up, was present, addressed our questions, and clearly communicated each step along the way. I contacted Painter1 for a proposal for exterior paint, Sven came out within a week for a site visit. He spent a lot of time going over the start to finish process with me. I had a paint swatch of a color that I was very attached to, and he was able to match it closely with one from the brand of paint that would be provided. Within about two days he had a proposal ready for us and placed an order for samples that we could pick up at our convenience. This September was a bit crazy with COVID-19, the wildfires in our area, and weather changes, but he kept in constant communication with us on when we could expect our project to start. A day before our project started, we got a call from Bryce to touch base and let us know who was coming and when. Julio and his crew worked diligently through a weekend to complete our project before fall rain came. Our house looks good as new with fresh paint!! Our neighbors have even taken time to compliment us on how the house looks. I've already referred a co-worker, and will not hesitate to continue sending business their way!

Painter1 did a great job! Bryce took his time, did a careful and professional job, and came back the next day to touch up a couple of little things. I was concerned that there was not great communication about the scheduling, but once they got here I was completely happy with their work.

Sven came out to bid on my house and went ahead and tested for lead while he was there, which was present. Unfortunately he couldn't take the job, but was so nice and thorough and gave me all the information needed to move forward with someone else. I am disappointed about the lead, but had a great experience with Painter 1!

Painter 1 is a great choice. My walls needed repainting after 16 years of living here to sell my home. Sven did a couple of quotes while we decided how extensively we wanted to paint the inside of my townhome. He was always very professional and patient with us. We love how the house looks now! They did a great job. They worked especially hard to cover a nasty stain, trying three different more intense treatments, until it was completely gone. They did little extra things that weren’t technically their job but that made things easier for me during that awful remodeling/moving stage. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends!

I hired Painter 1 to fix up some old doors, and I would hire them again without question. Sven met me to see what I wanted, and was happy to review other work I hope to do down the road to educate me as to what would be involved. He coordinated the work to be done with his painter Bryce, and Bryce kept in close communication with me regarding pick-up, progress of work, and return. When an option arose, he checked in with me instead of just making the decision on his own. (I wouldn't have known the difference, but the respect given to me was something you don't always get when hiring people.) It was a relief to work with such professionals, as well as comfortable to invite them into my home. You will be doing yourself a favor to call them; I know I will be calling them again for future projects!
