Oscar and the team at Painter1 of Dripping Springs did a FANTASTIC job in our home. We had some paint that was many years old that needed both a different color in one room and matching color to an existing room (after some extremely well-done ceiling tape-and-float repair). They were courteous, respectful of both our time and home, and made sure we were happy before they departed! I highly recommend them!!! We have some other work to do and will be using Oscar again!

They were recommended by a friend and have done a number of houses in our central east Austin neighborhood. It was very good work done by very nice people for a very reasonable price. I will definitely hire them again when I need painting! They protected my hardwood floors, cleaned up after the job, and were very respectful of our older home. Good communication, clear proposal, spot on.

These guys are the best! They do not finish until you are totally satisfied with the work and will do what it takes to get there. They are professionals who take pride in their work and know what has to be done. On top of that, they are also reasonably priced.

Oscar Cantu and Painter1 of Dripping Springs did an awesome job painting the interior of our house, as well as an exterior door and some outside window trim. They even went above and beyond to find some matching baseboard and replaced areas my dog had chewed! They priced fairly, stuck to the estimate, threw in painting closet interiors that I asked for last minute, and finished early - and the job they did was excellent. I highly recommend this business to anyone needing quality painting.

My wife and I had decided that we wanted to change the look of certain rooms in our home, and realized that the first step to achieving what we wanted would be for us to change the overall colour of certain rooms and to follow a theme. We found Painters1 on google and decided to contact them to get a quote. Oscar came the next day and was professional right from the start, he offered suggestions to things we didn't even think about, and really worked with us to during the planning phase of our home redecoration. We decided to utilized their services and were blown away by how much Oscar went above and beyond, and how he clearly exceed our expectation; something that we were happy about during the project, and that we appreciated when the project was complete. We were grateful of the work ethic of Oscar and his crew, and their ability to meet our extremely tight deadline. They were also some of the most professional tradesman that we have ever used. We found that the rates were fair and are happy by the output of the work. You can tell that Oscar and Painter1s really care about their trade, and that they put in effort to ensure that you are happy with the final result.

I found out about Painter 1 from a neighbor. I was looking for a contractor who could remove popcorn cieling and paint house throughout. Finding a decent contractor was the hard part due to demand in this area. Last year another one of our neighbors hired someone to do the same thing, but the end result was a hostile shouting match due to shoddy workmanship. In this instance I am pleased to report Oscar and crew did a fantastic job of removing the old popcorn cieling, retexturing and painting. Working hand in hand with Shewrin Williams they sent out a color co-ordinator who worked with my wife to select colors. True these guys were not the cheapest, but the price was fair and was worth every penny to have the job done right ahead of schedule and we are very pleased with the end results.
