It’s that time of year again, where spring is finally settling into a warm weather pattern, sprinklers have been turned on for the season, and friends and family alike are taking to their porches and patios to enjoy the sun. It also means that it’s the season for exterior painting!
Sometimes finding the perfect exterior paint color can be a challenge, but never fear! We’ve put together a photo gallery of 8 beautiful exterior paint color trends to help inspire you for your warm weather painting projects.
Since gold is one of the colors of the season, we’ll start with an exterior paint palette highlighting it! To keep your golds from looking too yellow, pair it with a white trim that has a hint of beige.
Grey is the new beige, whether you’re painting your interior or your exterior. We love this Summit Gray exterior paint from Sherwin Williams!
If you’re buying into the grey color trend, but still looking for a little color, then look no further than Rare Gray by Sherwin Williams. This gives you the glorious look of gray exterior paint, but with greenish hues to tame your need for color. The green undertones especially come through when paired with Pewter Green accents.
Red shutters and white trim are a classic colonial look, and we LOVE it. Especially with the gorgeous Lauren’s Surprise light blue exterior paint color.
If you’re a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll, then a golden bronze exterior color scheme might be just what you’re looking for.
Even thought we like to experiment with new exterior paint colors, we still hold a deep appreciation for something timeless like this beautiful neutral paint color combination.
For an exterior color that will look bright and happy even in spring showers, look toward a lovely blue and white color combination. We love the peppercorn accents in the garage doors and front door.
Sherwin Williams has some beautiful neutral exterior paint colors that look great in a home surrounded by lush landscaping (you have to have color somewhere, right?).
