Found Wade and Painter1 on Angies list. Wade responded to my initial inquiry promptly and was on time throughout the estimate process and the job. I needed my kitchen cabinets repainted with the hardware removed and re-installed, a half bathroom painted plus one bedroom that was a bold turquoise color (not my choice) and black trim (definitely not my choice). They were able to completely cover and repaint this room in a more pleasing color. Wade's suggestions on combining paint choices for the different rooms, which saved on the cost, was greatly appreciated. I was impressed by how Wade's crew headed by Carlos were prompt and got to work immediately. Floors were completely covered with plastic and they covered each step in the stairwell. I am very pleased with the finished job. Wade is easy to work with, reliable, and I paid exactly what he quoted (no surprises). I highly recommend Painter1 and would use them again without question.

Wade was prompt at giving an estimate--even on Saturday, and having the crew start the very next week. The 3-man crew was careful, quick, courteous, and great at painting. They were patient with us as we decided on paint colors and flexible when we chose to add some additional requests to our original agreement. I had painted my dining room a dark navy. I had a really tricky archway in my dining room and rounded corners. So I called these guys and Wade came out to give me a quote for finishing the job. Was super nice and very reasonably priced. It went great. Oscar came out with a painter and he got right to work. Very professional. The painter even offered to touch up some other areas of the room. I would absolutely use these guys again. Highly recommended.

I called other painters who were very slow to respond. I found Painter1 through a flyer and called. Wade's estimator called back within 15 minutes to set up an appointment and Wade texted shortly after. I was impressed with the quick response time and soon found that the whole crew was just as efficient! They painted several rooms. I went with their recommendations and everything came out beautifully! Everyone on the crew was polite, professional, and great to work with! They did a wonderful job, fixed cracks and water damage, and afterwards, Oscar, the project manager, made sure that everything was perfect! I highly recommend Wade and his entire crew at Painter1!

These folks are very professional and their project manager stayed on top of things, informing me frequently of progress and projected completion of various parts of the house. This process is extremely time-consuming and messy, but they made it as comfortable for me as possible throughout the 4-day process. Their workers are skilled, knowledgeable, polite, uniformed, and eager to please. I have been putting this off for a very long time because I knew it would be messy, but this was as good as it gets. The price was reasonable and I'm glad it's done!

Painter1's crew painted all the ceilings in our home, including a couple rooms with 12' ceilings; they painted 2 long walls, one dark red, the other dark brown and did it beautifully with only 2 coats of paint! Less paint, less time = less money! Great guys to work with too!

Wade Wilcox and his team are a pleasure to work with. I found Painter1 through an internet search for reasonably priced painters in my geographic area (Austin). My initial contact was a phone call to the number posted online and Wade answered promptly. He asked me for general information about the proposed job and scheduled a site visit from that initial contact. Later that afternoon, Wade was onsite measuring and asking questions about my preferences. His depth of knowledge in the field was valuable as I was covering a room painted RED with a pastel yellow - VERY difficult to do and stay on budget. Wade's suggestions were excellent and the result is excellent. Once his crew began work, I realized I wanted additional work done. With one phone call, Wade quickly updated the bid and I authorized the work. The crew never missed a moment of work waiting on a decision. I am very pleased with the outcome, the price and the ease of working with Painter1. I would use them again and again.

I was having a hard time finding a painter for a fence job. Painter 1 took no time at all scheduling a date/time to come out for an estimate.
