We received a lot of great feedback from our first blog about the 15 Top Paint Colors, but started to notice that a lot of the colors looked pretty similar! We know that a lot of the top colors include a lot of neutral tones, but we were confident that if we dug a little bit further then we'd find a little more color and variety, and we were right! Sorta!
It's that time of year again, where spring is finally settling into a warm weather pattern, sprinklers have been turned on for the season, and friends and family alike are taking to their porches and patios to enjoy the sun. It also means that it's the season for exterior painting!
Since Restoration Hardware moved into City Creek (in downtown Salt Lake City), we've been drooling over their decor. Seriously drooling. Like, sales associate has to come pry us off the furniture because we're ruining it with buckets of drool, drooling. But we're painters, which lends itself a practical and frugal necessity, which meant that instead of splurging on $300 chalkboards and $1700 dressers, we'd figure out a way to mimic the looks on our own.
We are going crazy for the grey living room trend! But don't worry, you won't find a cheesy "50 Shades" reference here, we're seriously just talking about the color grey.
